Hi all,
Although I'm not a true "class of '86", some of you may remember me as that weird Foreign Exchange Student ('84-'85).
Been a reaaaally long time since I've been to Tucson, but it looks like that's about to change in the near future; I may come down & visit next February.
During that visit, I would like to meet up with some 'old' friends which I have lost contact with over the years.
In that respect, does anyone know the whereabouts of Ceci(lia) Munoz from the class of '86?
Looking forward to re-visiting Tucson after all these years... :-)

Do you remember Darryl Leal? Kinda hard not to.

Anyway, I ran into him at Pueblo. He was making a presentation to teens (about 200 at a time) about making healthy decisions in their lives. He did a dynamite job! Most of the presenters we have bore the kids, but Darryl's presentation was quite the opposite. His presentation changed lives.

Kudos, Darryl

To The Class of "86 - The entire committee would like to wish you all Happy Holidays. The entire 20 year committee has agreed to stay on for the 25 year class reunion, along with some new members. We will start having some planning meetings in the New Year. If you would like to be part of the committee, please let us know. We want to make the 25 year reunion even better (if possible) than the 20 year. We also hope to have yearly family picnics as well at the same location if possible. We need to all stay in touch with each other and never forget the GREAT classmates and teachers, we have in our class. We need to keep this magic we started 50 days ago, for a life time. We need to all take some time from our busy schedules, especially around this time of year to let our classmates know we are still thinking about them and their families. You are all special people in every sense of the word. Please stay safe and we will all be together again soon. To our classmates that are no longer with us, we will also see you again in heaven, then and only then, will the class of 1986 "kick" for eternity .... James Valenzuela

The reunion was a dream, I will never forget this wonderful time. I want to do it again, I have no words to tell you how wonderful it was to see everybody and to talk to people that I never spoke to in high school. Angelica Santa Cruz, I hope we can go to lunch some day and really get to know you. It was wonderful to talk to you and to know that you are encouraging Spanish to your family and in the school, keep up the great job. school. Letty Molina, it is wonderful to see you around, we should get together for lunch since we live close. Vicky, I owe you lunch. All of you look great and it would be a great idea James if one of this day, we get together. My husban and I don't go out much because we are so busy with Analilia jr. but I think we can take a break and have some fun with all of you. ¡Que Dios Los Bendiga! and is so good to know that the majority of you guys know Spanish. Alina it was also nice to talk to you.

Hi everyone. I just wanted to say Thanks to everyone that emailed me after hearing about my son getting ill the night of the reunion. It meant a lot that so many people were pulling for him when he was doing so poorly. Brennan has been doing much better since they removed a brain tumor from his right temporal lobe. He's still in the hospital here in Phoenix and going through rehab to get stronger. He's still had some seizures and that continues to be scary. The docs are trying to figure out what meds to keep him on to control the seizures and then we will have to wait and see if he will grow out of them. So far the pathology reports on the tumor do not indicate that there should be any reoccurance of the tumor (which was only about the size of a pea). I am very sorry that I was unable to enjoy the reunion but am glad that others had a great time and were able to reconnect. I looked back on the pictures of the picnic and was thinking about what I was doing while everyone else was having fun with their families and I am just so grateful that we were given another chance to have those kind of memories still with our kids and hopefully they won't mind being dragged to a picnid in 5 years. Thanks again for the kind emails, Karen Bayless Feldman

I just wanted to say how much fun I had with everyone during the reunion weekend. I have not heard anyone say it but I was so impressed when I saw so much enthusiasm from everyone. People who were attendng nightfall were wondering what all the commotion was about (especially David Satterfield dancing that funky music). I agree with Lori Fimbres it was so cool to reconnect with the white school manzanita posse. And James Valenzuela, I am looking forward to having you come guest speak for my classes. Thank you Susie, David, James, and all who complimented the decorations on Saturday night. I would like to add a little to that. My sister Elita, who is also a Pueblo Warrior, (back in the good ol' days when Wally Warrior was ours!) helped with the printing and decorations. She brought Wally back for the mini spirit sticks in the flower arrangements. And along with Reyna and Regina, we also had the help of Monica (Desoto) Vega and Jennifer (Desoto) Urbina. (Okay James and David helped too!) Thanks to all. Again, it was a great time!

I was not able to be in Tucson at the time of the 20th reunion, but I did spend the entire month of July in Columbus, OH. with David and my grand son. I know how hard he and everyone else worked to make this such a success and I had hoped I would be able to fly to Tucson and see a lot of the "kids" that used to hang out out at my house when we lived on W. Wyoming. A lot of you have been in my thoughts all these years and I have wondered what has happened to you. I'm glad to know that you are all still on planet earth. Rudy, you have a beautiful baby girl and I would love someday to meet your wife. Perhaps if there is to possibly be a yearly reunion with a few of you, I will get my chance to see you. I will not be able to make the reunion - but I wish everyone a great time. My wife and I are taking our daughter to Disneyland for her birthday that weekend. I don't think my info made the time frame cut off, so I will catch up anyone who is interested right here. I am very happily married to my beautiful wife, Julie, and we have a 1 year old baby girl. We are thinking about having another, maybe soon. We live in California, where I moved after graduating from The University of Arizona. I still enjoy playing basketball (the over 35 rec league now!) and travelling and spending time with my family. Have a great reunion - has it really been 20 years already?!! WoW!

I would like to dedicate this poem to the entire Pueblo Class of 1986: Friend's Greeting To His PHS Class of 86 I'd like to be the sort of friend that you have all been to me; I'd like to be the help that you've been always glad to be; I'd like to mean as much to you each minute of the day. As you all have meant, old Pueblo friend of mine, to me along the way. I'd like to do the big things and the splendid things for you, To brush the gray from out your skies and leave them only Pueblo Blue; I'd like to say the kindly things that I so often have heard, And feel that I could rouse your soul the way that mine you've all stirred. I'd like to give you all back the joy that you have given me, I'd like to make you feel as rich as I, who travel on undaunted in the darkest hours with you to lean upon you. I'm wishing at this time that I could but repay, A portion of the gladness that you've all strewn along my warrior way; And could I have one wish this year, this only would it be: I'd like to be the sort of friend that you have all been to me, almost 20 years to the day. Classmates... For those that have RSVP'ed and Paid, you should have a nice "little present" in your e-mail in-box. It contains your e-ticket and detailed event agenda that were e-mailed last night. Without your e-ticket, you will not be able to get into the Saturday Old Tucson main event. This is an event that you will not want to miss. If you have not RSVP'ed, or have RSVP'ed and not paid yet, please do so this week so you too get your reunion present like your fellow classmates. Please do not wait to the last minute. Tickets are GOING FAST, so don't be the person that get's left out of this once in a life time event. Once the tickets are sold out, that there will be no more. We only have a limited about of tickets for this event. We are officially only have 26 more days left.... James Valenzuela

I have to say that I am really looking forward to this twenty year reunion. The ten year was so much fun I am sure this one will be even better even with a few more wrinkles! I am looking forward to visiting with the classmates that I didn't get to chat with last time. It is truly amazing the amount of personal time the committee has dedicated to this website and upcoming reunion! Tell your families we all really appreciate it so much:) I have to admit I feel really spoiled having this website...It's so high tech. :)

In order to pay the proper respect to our classmates that have past away, we are asking if anyone knows how to get in contact with families of our departed classmates. We would like their families to write a dedication about their love ones, similar to the one for Claudia Diaz written by her sister Paula. Here is the list of classmates that have pasted away: Aurora Susana Aguayo, Ernesto Sotelo, Richard Arvizu, Ronald Fimbres, & John Hitchcock.

If you know where they are or know someone that knows where they are, please get in contact with them. Remember, no Warrior should be left behind. 3) Pictures, Pictures, Pictures and more Pictures. These pictures will be used on the Warrior Slide Show. Please start sending those pictures do David Satterfield as soon as you can.
